Groceries for Less

For any of you who love the farmer's markets but can't afford to make it a daily habit, I've got a solution! (sort of)...

Any Bostonian knows that our city has a wealth of food options - from supermarkets to restaurant delivery services to food trucks, we can find just about anything we want at any hour of the day. That being said, there's often way too many fast food options on the cheap, and not as much quality food on the cheap. Like you, I tend to find that good quality has to come at a higher price.

No more I say! - Haymarket has you covered!

Although the food may not be organic or the freshest you've ever had, I find that the quality is just as good if not a little better than the food you find at your local supermarket. You can still choose which particular items you wish to purchase, and of course you still need to wash all your produce with care, but they're at such discounts it's almost thievery!

For example, today I got 2 boxes of strawberries, 1 giant box containing 3 heads of artisan lettuce, and 8 tangerines all for $4! Yup - FOUR DOLLARS!! That would total about $12 in a normal supermarket - 3 times the price of what I paid today! Crazy!!

So check it out - every Friday and Saturday from dawn to dusk except Christmas and New Years - http://www.boston-discovery-guide.com/haymarket-boston.html#axzz1bZAVE8xP

No excuses now for all you who don't eat your fruits and veggies - they're not expensive anymore!!
