Happy Earth Day!

Today is Earth Day people!

Oftentimes (I would say 98% of the time), we are all consumed with our lives and what's happening with technology rather than taking a moment to look around us and appreciate what we have to live on. Mother Earth and Mother Nature have provided countless resources for humans to consume and use at our will. More and more these days, we're abusing these rights, and certainly paying for it. Look at the recent weather patterns: the tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, monsoons, earthquakes, and more. We can't keep ignoring the fact that our Earth is hurting - and trying to tell us an urgent message: Get our act together, or else.

On a more lighter note, I do hope you participate in Earth Day today - whether it be taking the train or bus instead of driving; walking to appreciate nature; planting a tree or flower in your yard; buying organic vegetables and meats at the grocery store; or just reading this link to purchase some eco-friendly products:

Please everyone - we really need to take care of our planet if we plan on calling it home for the next millenia. Treat her with kindness and respect, and do what you can to contribute to a better, more natural, and lasting society.

Mother Earth will thank you. And so do I! :)
